Life Lessons

We live in a world where parents should teach their kids and/or young adults the difference between needing something or wanting a particular item because Mom & Dad have the funds to purchase it   ...

1. Needs are things that you have in order to function or progress in life ..
2. Wants are momentary and unnecessary desires ...

Some adults have a bad habit of saying this in front of their kids ... I'll die if I don't buy that. Now answer this question, what kind of message are you transmitting to your son or daughter? Have you forgotten that our children tend to mentally photograph what we do and when we least expect it, they duplicate it?

Final Thought:

Let's not spoil our young people because today their under our roof and tomorrow they'll have their own bills to pay ... Living your life on a whim only results in financial bankruptcy, trouble in your future relationships and you'll never really appreciate the value of a dollar.

Blessings,
