What Trigger This?

Has anyone watched yesterday's news? If you haven't, well allow us  to   share something with you? Three young boys of the age of 16 were arrested for raping a 33 year old woman. :-(  Now, I'm not here to judge; because the bible says this ...

Matthew 7:1 (NCV) - “Don’t judge others, or you will be judged.

However, as my GEM & I sat down to discuss(not judge) what we saw on the news, it left us with a perplexed sense. Because we meticulous shared with each other the following:

1. What motivated these 3 teens to commit such a violent act?
2. Did the parents, teachers or friends of these 3 boys notice a change in their behavior before this occurred?
3. Finally, were these young men raped in the past or were they experience "SERIOUS" peer pressure from the 2 other boys?

I felt the need to share this with "ALL" of you; on account of as Pastors we've met so many youths that are baffled about life and as a result, they tend to make neediness mistakes. That being said, we'd like to conclude with this ...

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (ESV) - Pray without ceasing,

That's what we're going to continue to do for today's teens! Care to join us?

Find Comfort in HIM

We're consistently telling our 4 sons that no matter comes their way, to find comfort in Him. Him being the only one that will never abandoned them in their: darkest, saddest or stressful hours ...

Him being the only one who can lift their spirit without wanting for anything in return. The pressure that teens now a days are undergoing is outrageous; because everyone wants to be popular, instead of just being themselves.

That's why in our home we have so many strange and comical saying; nonetheless they all have a positive message behind them. With this thought, we'd like to finally say ... Find comfort in HIM and you'll never ever feel  alone again.

BLESSINGS,

It Touched My Heart

I have to testify about our 4 wonderful sons; because Carlos Jr. Josue', Esteban and Elias, knows how to touch my heart everyday and in a unique way, plus I love chocolate, too. ‪#‎Hehehe‬,

When the doctor told me that I couldn't have children, I felt heartbroken; however every time I look into their eyes, I thank the Lord for blessing me with a husband who's a bona fide prayer warrior.  ‪#Alleluia‬, That's why God blessed are womb (I say our because the bible says that we're one ~ Genesis 2:24) ... Our 4 Diamond sons are the definition of loving sons ...

Comics Vs Super Heroes

When my Dominican Danish (husband) and our 4 Diamond sons start talking about comic books and super heroes, their eyes light up and their voices get louder ... In my opinion, I always see my hubby as Superman and I'm Lois the Reporter ... #‪‎Hehehe‬,

Moving on, (in a whimsical fashion) the only thing that's needed is a batch of homemade cookies (I prefer chocolate chip or something with almonds) and a pitcher of milk to bring debatable conversation to a delicious halt ...  It's Friday night, therefore enjoy yours with your love ones ... #‪‎HaLLeLuJaH‬,

A Monumental Mark

Parenthood is similar to a roller coast ride; because it entails a few ups and downs, besides those unexpected detours that pop up along the way. Although, what I love about being a parent is that while everything is going on, it always leaves a monumental mark in the family's heart ...

Let me tell you why, you see, each one of our 4 sons, does something that makes me laugh louder than a little kid at McDonalds (‪#‎Hehehe‬). For instance, Carlos Jr. #1 loves to hug & kiss me, while with his Papi he likes to play rough house games, Josue' #2 is quiet; but funny; because when he does or says something, it leaves us speechless (in a positive way), Esteban #3 is truly a work of art; on account of, when he's on his PS4, I feel as if I'm playing along with him, and Elias #4, my secret agent in the kitchen, he's always ready to taste anything we cook or bake. Oh well, I'm wife, and co-parent of 4 humorous sons that keep my heart beating in a loving way. The bible is so true when it says this ...

Psalm 127:3 (NLT) - Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

Whipping Out the Camera

We're so grateful to the Lord because the youth of our congregation are seeking His presence more everyday. #‪‎HaLLeLuJaH‬, I'm always the one that has to resist whipping out the camera every time one of our 4 handsome sons share some sort of good news with my GEM & me. Like early today, Esteban #3 brought a biblical teaching to the Church (thank You Jesus), and I was wrestling in my seat; because all I wanted to do is capture that moment. On that blissful note, this is what we saw today ....

2 Corinthians 2:14 (HCSB) - But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

This is truly an awesome winter break for us and we owe it all to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit ... #Amen‬,
